Let not ambition mock their toil

Ambition spurs the human mind, urging us to race ahead and reach the stars. However, not everyone is fortunate enough to scale heights.

They settle for lesser destinies and destinations. These are the people who work at the grass root level, who toil incessantly and perhaps for meager wages. Nonetheless, work is worship for them as well.

What is disheartening is how the upper strata of society are oblivious of their contribution and support to society as a whole. Little do we realize, let alone acknowledgement, that without their work, be it sweeping, garbage dumping, gardening or housekeeping, we sure would be in a mess. It is because they are executing their duties with discipline and diligence that we are able to execute our own tasks so well.
